Carly Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and now among the front-runners in the Republican primary, has an essay in this morning’s Wall Street Journal in which she blames Obama and Hillary Clinton for widening inequality. “People at the top seem to be doing just fine …. in the period 2009-2012, 95% of the gains went to the top 1%.” Her explanation: “because big government only works for big business, the powerful, the wealthy and the well-connected."
There is a push throughout this country to require picture IDs when voting. The premise often times is that there is voter fraud going on yet I have not seen any studies that indicate that this is a significant issue in U.S. elections.

What I do see is an effort to disenfranchise low wage workers...
Perhaps this sounds heartless and I don't mean this as a justification for everything that goes on but there are dangers that are an inherent part of the job and these folks don't go into this line of work blind to that reality.

All of the hype that has been going on lately makes it sound like there is a war against police yet statistics bare out that police killed on duty has been steadily decreasing.
During a brief colloquy between Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Fox moderator Brett Baier, the pugnacious casino magnate revealed the appalling truth about the American political system, that the big money guys like Trump own the whole crooked contraption lock, stock, and barrel, and that, the nation’s fake political leaders do whatever they’re told to do. Without question, it was most illuminating commentary to ever cross the airwaves.
Well, as of this morning the debate that hit South Carolina and the Social Media came to an end. The Conferate flag that was flying over the state capital in South Carolina was taken down. The compromise that was made, was the place the flag in the state's museum.

Personally, I think this was a good compromise in the situation. I took issue myself when I discovered that this flag...
